Small Zodiac Fishing Boat

in El-Max area, the boats differ in their design, size, work permits, fishing methods, types of nets used and manufacturing materials.

The small zodiac boat : The small zodiac structure is made entirely of wood. The hull has a curved lineage with a pointed front and a small breasthook area, also this type of boat a flat-level Transom part with a cavity to add a motor to operate the boat. The small wooden zodiac also has a Stren thwart at the back of its interior.

In this type of boat, the Cher Cap has a curved shape. In some models the boats owners have covered parts of the Sheer Cap with latex to protect it from being damaged during the fishing process. Also, in boats owners fix a metal ring to the breasthook part to stabilize the fishing tools.

This type of boat is always sailing and fishing from El-Max region till El-kilo 21 region (19.3 km).

The Big zodiac boats face some threats such as getting damaged due to entering the salted sea water, which leads to the disintegration of their hulls and the maintenance is expensive
